Kontentino alternatives with client approvals (EUR)

Kontentino puts client approvals on its €109 plan. Agency schedulers that approve posts with a client for less, EU companies marked, at October 2026 prices.

Updated · 3 min read · Prices and limits checked against the vendors' own pages and APIs on that date.

Kontentino comes from Bratislava and was built for agencies: a calendar a client can look at, approvals with a comment thread, tasks for the designer, and a billing model in euros. For an agency with ten people and forty client profiles it is a sensible buy. The people who look for an alternative are smaller: a freelancer or a two-person studio who needs the client approval step, finds it only on the Standard plan at €109, and is not using the task management that the price pays for.

This page compares the tools that do client approvals for less, in euros where the vendor bills in euros, with October 2026 prices.

    Alternatives with client approvals

Prices are each vendor's own, monthly billing, October 2026. "Approvals" means a client can approve or reject a post; "no account" means they can do it without a login on the tool.

Preflight Pro$2420 channels, 3 seats; Studio $64 for 60 channels, 10 seatsNo, a linkYes (Czech), hosted in the EU

Postiz Team$3910 channels, unlimited membersYes, a memberNo
Hootsuite Advanced$399 per userunlimited accountsYes, a seatNo

Kontentino's €109 is the line. Preflight, Metricool, Buffer at under ten channels, Publer and Postiz come in under it; ZoomSphere and Hootsuite are over, and both are selling to larger teams.

    How the approvals differ

Kontentino gives the client a role in the workspace or a link to a calendar view, with a comment thread per post and a history. It is the most complete approval flow on this list and the reason agencies pick it.

Preflight sends a link. The client sees the post as each network will show it, approves or asks for changes, and the link holds one decision; a later edit cannot land on an approved post, and the client never creates an account. There are no comment threads inside the tool; changes come back as a note. It is lighter than Kontentino's on purpose. Presets of channels per client and per-channel posting times are on the same plan; see the pricing page.

ZoomSphere and Hootsuite run approvals as workflow steps between users, which is right for an in-house team and heavy for a client who looks at posts once a week.

Buffer, Publer, Postiz and Metricool have approval states and member roles; the client is a member and costs what a member costs.

    Where Kontentino stays ahead

    • The workflow. Tasks, assignments, comments and a client-facing calendar. Preflight has none of the task management.
    • X with media and Google Business Profile. Preflight's X is text-only and it has no Google Business.
    • LinkedIn Company Pages. Preflight posts to personal profiles until LinkedIn's review comes through.
    • Benchmarking on the Pro plan.

    Where the alternatives are ahead

Preflight checks every post against each network's real rules before anything is uploaded, which matters most to an agency because the person who scheduled the post is not the one who gets the error at midnight; it has Discord, Telegram, Bluesky, Mastodon and Tumblr; its REST API and MCP server let an assistant draft and validate posts; and its app and database are in the EU, which a Czech or Slovak client's data-processing agreement will ask about. Kontentino is a Slovak company under GDPR; its pricing page does not say where the servers are.

Prices read from kontentino.com/pricing, zoomsphere.com/pricing and the other vendors' pages on 6 October 2026. Kontentino shows euro and dollar prices side by side; both are quoted.
