What it does
The differences between platforms are the work.
Every network counts differently, sizes differently and names its figures differently. Preflight absorbs that, so you write once.
Checked before it leaves
Length, ratio, duration and file size are measured against every network's limits as you type. A post that would be refused is refused here, while you can still fix it.
Bluesky would refuse this. 24 characters over its 300.

What people ask before they connect their first account.
Publishing
Which social networks can Preflight publish to?
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram (feed, Reels and stories), Facebook Pages, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord. You connect each account through the platform's own sign-in — or, for Telegram and Discord, its own bot — and publish one post to any combination of them.
What happens when a caption breaks a platform's rules?
The post is refused before it leaves, and the composer tells you which network objected and by how much — 24 characters over on Bluesky, a video too long for a Short, an image the wrong shape for Instagram. You fix it while it is still a draft instead of finding out after half the networks have published.
Can I schedule video, and how large can it be?
Yes. Video goes to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord. Files upload in parts and resume if the connection drops, so a 40-minute, 600 MB file is fine. Each platform's duration and size limits are checked before the upload starts.
Can I see what a post will look like before it goes out?
Every post is previewed on a phone, in the layout of the network it is going to: a square with a caption for Instagram, a card for Threads and Bluesky, a full-screen vertical video for TikTok and Shorts. Switching networks switches the preview.
Can I edit or delete a post after it has been published?
Where the network's API allows it, yes — from Preflight, without signing in to each platform. Where a network does not allow it, the button is not shown rather than failing later.

How much does Preflight cost?
There is a free plan with 3 channels and 20 publishes a month. Paid plans run from $13 a month for 8 channels to $64 for 60 channels and 10 seats. Paid yearly, a plan costs 10 months' price for twelve. Every plan has every network, the calendar and analytics; only the limits change. Pro is free for 14 days without a card. Prices are in US dollars and include VAT.
Is there an API?
Yes. Every workspace can create API keys and publish, schedule and read results over a REST API — the same one the web app uses.
Your accounts and data
Do you need my social media passwords?
No. You connect through each platform's own sign-in screen and we receive only the access you approve there. Tokens are encrypted before storage, are never shared or sold, and are revoked at the platform when you disconnect.
